Vanlife, Banff.

From Alex Emond, in Banff: "I have been seeing more of these old slushy camper vans around town this year . Late 70's, mid eighties , almost 'beaters' but still roadworthy, with a bed, a stove, maybe a fridge. The money you spend on gas you might save on rent . Some super funky/ugly full size campers out there too. Banff has an extremely low vacancy rate, as far as finding a place to live goes, so a big old van works for some people for 3 of the four seasons . Anyway , feast your eyes. On one level they appeal to my warped sense of humour ... like seeing a really good " mullet " . Cheers , Alex"
